Deep blues, soft sky blue, warm rust and earthy neutrals come together in this small abstract original. I built this piece in layers, letting some areas stay rough and textured while others became softer and quieter.
The warm rust against the blues is my favorite part. It gives the painting just enough contrast and makes it feel a little weathered and lived-in rather than too polished.
At 8" x 8", it’s an easy piece to add to a gallery wall, hang in a small space, or display on a shelf or tabletop.
